我心目中的天籁天后之一，声音有如唐老鸦，或者卡通剧中的坏女人的声音，沙哑，有磁性，给人free的感觉。回想认识Macy Gray还是以前家里有channel v时，可能是98,99年，那时她还是个新人，现在已经老了吧。就跟Lene Marlin似的，我以为她一直是个小小孩，结果现在看照片好象比我还老。。恩，她应该比我老吧。。这首GRAMMI 2001的获奖歌曲，可能也算是我这辈子喜欢的歌曲之一了。它的歌词在纤细的情感中蕴藏着一丝丝幽默。有韵味，也有趣味，我们这些厌倦了甜美嗓音或者是优质标准演唱的甚是欣赏这另类的声音。。那种状态就是懒洋洋的（呵呵……）但是没有任何娇柔造作。合我胃口啊。99年听到她的歌我还是陷在沙发里不肯“自拔”，半闭眼睛，听到她的声音轻松一笑，很舒服。
